Prepare for your 2023 SARS submissions
These are the main dates to keep in mind for SARS payments in 2023:
- PAYE: Due on the 7th of each month (unless it falls on a weekend or holiday, in which case payment is due on the last working day before the holiday)
- PAYE reconciliation: due by 31st May 2023 and 31st October 2023
- VAT: Due on the 25 of each month (unless unless it falls on a weekend or holiday, in which case payment is due on the last working day before the holiday)
- Second provisional tax (2023): 28 February 2023
- Provisional tax topup (optional): 29 September 2023
- First provisional tax (2024): 31 August 2023
